Independent Film: "By the Grace of Fire

New Jersey Talent Take on Hollywood

 Catch the work of young aspiring filmmakers that collaborated to make a short film as their calling card to the film industry.  This past March and April aspiring Cinematographer and Director, Eric R. Schroeter, Producer, Kalie Zaker, Director of Photography, Ari Davidson, and rising actor, Michael DeJesus, filmed a powerful short piece, “By the Grace of Fire,” that will have it’s world premier at Headquarters Plaza Clearview Cinema Theater on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 7:00 PM.  After the screening, the film will be entered into the country’s top film festivals.

 Although set on a war torn battlefield, it’s emotional crux is a man’s coming to terms with an overwhelming reality of the world, Filmed on location in Wayside, NJ, the actors and crew, over forty dedicated young professionals, assembled to create a capstone vehicle that would exhibit their artistic talent as they transformed a suburban environment into a war setting.

I've seen DeJesus' work before. He's really a terrific actor. I'm definitely going to check this out!
