Short Hills.  Lois Schneider, CEO and President of Lois Schneider Realtor, was honored at the 18^th Annual Thanksgiving Ball Gala of The Valerie Fund, held at the Short Hills Hilton Hotel on November 20, 2009. She was recognized for "bettering the lives of children throughout our community."  Lois befriended The Valerie Fund 30 years ago and through her generosity has ensured that The Valerie Fund children benefit from every event that takes place in the community. Included in this has been her support of Camp Happy Times since the 1980s, affording hundreds of children the opportunity to attend camp every summer.

Established in 1976, The Valerie Fund Children's Centers comprise the largest network of healthcare facilities for children with cancer and blood disorders in New Jersey, and is one of the largest in the nation today.
