Visual Arts Center Earns HEART Grant

The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders recently awarded a $2,500 Union County HEART Grant to the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in Summit for presenting a visual arts program for older adults.

The HEART Grant Program (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) supports local artists, educators, cultural and historical organizations with annual grants. This year the Program distributed a total of $75,000 to 38 recipients.
