Elks Club Donates $500 to Red Cross For Haiti Relief

Elks Club Exalted Ruler Mike Williams presents a $500 check for Haiti disaster relief to Mike Wattick and Terry Brannnin of the Colonial Crossroads Chapter of the Red Cross.

The Elks Club has donated $500 to the Colonial Crossroads Chapter of the Red Cross for Haiti disaster relief.
Mike Williams, exalted ruler, said the club had held a fundraiser and while they normally only support three charities–Children of Special Needs, Veterans and Youth Activites–they decided this money would go to the Red Cross.
"We thought that the desperate conditions of the people in Haiti we worth our charitiable donation," Williams said.
