Excessive Heat, Severe Storms Forecast for Thursday

New Jersey State Police issue a weather advistory.

 

Union County residents should be prepared for excessive heat and possible severe thunderstorms later today.

According to an advisory issued by the New Jersey State Police, highs should reach 94 degrees in Union County, with possible severe thunderstorms after 5 p.m.

Some storms could feature large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly before midnight. Again, some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain.
