Patch Survey: What's On Your Hurricane Sandy Playlist?

What music will you be listening to as you hunker down and wait for the storm?

You've stocked up on food, batteries and candles; you've purchased a generator (well, maybe) and tied down all of your patio furniture. So what's left to do as you await the arrival of Frankenstorm? Well, how about a little background music?

There's no denying the fact that those in Hurricane Sandy's path are experiencing major tension as they wait for the storm to make landfall. In an effort to bring a little levity to the situation, we're asking folks to tell us what's on their Hurricane Sandy playlist.

When you hear the name Sandy, what songs come to mind? A popular Springsteen tune? John Travolta belting out a sad love song outside the drive-in? Or maybe you're more likely to crank up the Scorpions and let them "Rock You Like a Hurricane" as the high winds start whipping through your neighborhood.

Whatever your musical preference, comment below and tell Patch what songs we should be listening to as we weather the storm.

Since power outages are inevitable having a long run time flashlight is a good idea.

Lowes has a 65 hour run time flashlight for under $5.00

Not a playlist per se, but I've been rocking the Beasts of the Southern Wild soundtrack. Just a few tracks:
End of the World
Until the Water Goes Down
Mother Nature
The Survivors
