Summit Crime Report: Lexus Stolen, Muni Vandalized

Summit Police saw their third car theft report in 10 days this week when a Lexus RX3 was reported stolen from a Woodland Avenue home's garage. Police report that the crime occurred between 8:30p.m. on June 26 and 9:30a.m. on June 27.
Previously, a 2006 Chrysler 300 was reported stolen on June 19, and on June 20 a 1997 Honda was reported stolen.
In other crime news $150 was stolen from the Summit Municipal Golf Course in a case of alleged criminal mischief. The money was in a safe on the property. According to police, sometime between 9p.m. on June 26 and 5a.m. the next day a flag was also stolen, a door kicked in, and tire marks were left on the golf course.

No matter how much the Summit PD tells people lock your cars, doors, and not be negligent etc people will still be stupid. I used to live in Summit for a while but this crime is getting out of control for a small city. Something significant needs to be done..

I agree I constantly keep stealing scooters and yet I still get away with it.
