Summit Shows "Casablanca" For Date Night
The Village Green screening of "Casablanca" called a "date night" movie brought out couples far and wide.

Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart were the stars of the Screen on the Green Date Night flick, "Casablanca".

Summit's community programs department brought the couples out to Screen on the Green last night. Several dozen people came with lawn chairs and treats, or just grabbed a fresh bag of (free) popcorn to enjoy the classic 1940's movie "Casablanca" on the Village Green.
Mayor Ellen Dickson and Summit Fire Department Chief Joe Houck were a few local officials in attendance.
Next Thursday's final screening will be the 2011 family film "Dolphin Tale".

FYI - Lauren Bacall was not in Casablanca. Bogart's costar was Ingrid Berman.
