Ready For a Night on the Town? Summit Will Host Girls' Night Out' Tonight

The annual spring event returns from 5 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Summit.

The annual spring “Girls’ Night Out” sponsored by Summit Downtown, Inc. returns on Thursday, from 5 to 9 p.m. and promises to be a special evening for "girls" of all ages.  

Check in at the Welcome Center located on Beechwood Road and Bank Street and meet special guest, nationally syndicated columnist and author, Tracy Beckerman in the author’s lounge. Beckerman will be selling and autographing her new release, “Lost in Suburbia:  Momoir, How I Got Pregnant, Lost Myself and Got My Cool Back in the New Jersey Suburbs.”  Enjoy giveaways, some tasty samplings from our local eateries, and then head into town for free music, prizes, photo ops, free caricatures and more.

More than 75 merchants and restaurants will be offering special deals and menus and the Summit YMCA will once again provide FREE babysitting, children’s activities and classes so Moms can relax and enjoy the night.  

Walk-ins are welcome but pre-register by April 30 and be eligible for fabulous prizes donated by our local merchants.  Register on our website www.summitdowntown.org  by clicking on the link to “Girls’ Night Out.”
