On of the city's new paid parking system and upgraded lots is set to reopen for business on Sept. 27
Beginning tomorrow, shoppers will be able to park in the DeForest Avenue Parking Lot #1. According to Parking Services Manager Rita M. McNany, "there is still work to be completed and at times, a few spaces will be marked off."
Summit's department of public works has been handling the shopper parking lot upgrade work, which includes drainage upgrades, landscaping, pavement restoration and curbing.
"The city would like to thank everyone with their patience during construction," McNany said Wednesday.
