Very sad. But what were two little boys doing outside. I am guessing without parents watching. Or not in bed at 7PM? Also way was the pool without a fence. Or. Ladder removed? My heart does go out to the parents. BUT. LESSON LEARNED. KEEP YOUR EYES ON LITTLE ONES.

Judgemental comments are cruel and without sympathy. This is a tragedy and I wish peace to the family in their grief.

My heart and prayers goes out to the family. I can't imagine loosing 1 child, never the less loosing 2. People should not judge we don't know what the situation is .... Maybe the mother could be working nights or perhaps the kids could have even given her a rough night. People are not perfect but usually there is a reason for everything. I think this mother is already going to have a lot to deal with and definitely doesn't need any negative criticism. This was a tragedy

As a parent of one, I can not even think of what this family is going through now...I understood from a news paper that dad just left for work and mom just came home from work, and mom fell asleep and this is what happened.. this is a 2 income family ...I first want to say that when my child started climbing I put high locks on the doors, and secondly, what kind of pool what it...I also have a inground with a fence around a fence...but even at a tender age children can find the loophole....I send my prayers and love to the family....Whatever the cause 2 children are gone and the truth will come out... God Bless his new ANGELS ♥♥♥♥ as parents we need eyes in front and back to watch our child....

I dont really think what kind of fence around the pool matters, its not thwir property to be going on. So the fence should not be an issue. And i agree with high locks. If you are going to take a nap the take precautions so nothing bad does happen. Not saying its her fault but it definately is not the neighbors fault.

To the people that commented, "Not in bed at 7pm", "lesson learned" & "union county says it all", I sincerely pray you don't encounter insensitive people when you endure a loss. Also, why not identify yourself when making such comments? Why are you hiding your identity? Perhaps you'd be embarrassed if someone knew how you really think/feel?
