I feel the need to write so I've come up for air from studying and completing several computer projects to blog a bit. I'm worried about math, but then I've always been worried about math. The good news is what I learned from a developmental course in 1998 is rattling around in my brain and I try to call on it for this class which is also a developmental course, elementary algebra (ugh, I don't even like saying it let alone doing it). Here's a taste: Quadratic equations, factoring, completing the square, the FOIL method...and more! In all honestly I remember nothing from HS math, AT ALL, so some things I feel like I'm learning from scratch!!! Because math doesn't come easy to me I have to force myself to take the time to study, I've always been that way and being an adult hasn't changed it. The good news is my other class Microsoft Office 2010 is a joy. I've got a good head for the computer, PowerPoint is my favourite program I'm all about the creative aspect of anything. OK back to the books and the scrap paper!!!
