Rustin, an influential African-American Quaker, orchestrated the historic 1963 March on Washington.  He is credited with persuading Martin Luther King and his advisors to make Gandhian nonviolence a key part of the civil rights movement.  Come learn about his life, his legacy, his struggle to live openly and productively as a gay man, and his continuing relevance to civil and human rights today.
