Drawing on bluegrass\, rock\, & old time music\, Hub Hollow has been d escribed as a new kind of old time music. Their beautifully blended voca ls and intricate melodies reflect a lifetime of creating music together. United in their desire to create hard-hitting\, interesting acoustic mu sic\, the members of Hub Hollow have been playing together\, in differen t configurations for almost 20 years. Blending rock & bluegrass\, old ti me & blues\, members have enjoyed success on both coasts at many notable venues\, including both Telluride and Grey Fox music festivals. Hub Hol low will perform in the colorful and elegant gardens at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum. The gardens were restored in the 1950s by the Garden Club of Morristown. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore throug h a variety of summer blooms in the garden and relax on the large lawn d uring the program. Guests may bring picnics\, blankets or chairs and set tle back for a late afternoon of great music in a beautiful setting. The Delicious Ice cream Company will be in attendance for guests to purchas e refreshments from a fully restored 1950 custom truck with an authentic ice cream man dressed in that same old fashioned outfit you remember as a kid. Life on the home front was not easy for loved ones whom the soldiers left behind. Women played an important role in the Union war effort\; starting the U.S. Sanitary C ommission\, serving as nurses\, gathering goods and raising money for th e soldiers all contributed to the Union victory. The exhibit features le tters to loved ones back home\, Lincoln memorabilia from the Museum's co llection including a plate from his White House china\, and a document s igned by Lincoln as President and also by the Secretary of War. The Muse um will remain open until 4pm when the performance begins. Admission is Adults $8\; Seniors & Students $6\; Children 6 – 12 $4. Members and ch ildren under 5 are free.
