DESCRIPTION:Hear Imperial Brass perform musical favorites from movies and
  other well-known classics on Sunday\, June 17\, 2012 at 7 p.m. at it's 
 home base\, Willow Grove Presbyterian Church in Scotch Plains.&nbsp\; Th
 e 30-piece Imperial Brass is widely acclaimed for performing a diverse a
 rray of musical numbers.&nbsp\; Celebrate Father&rsquo\;s Day listening 
 to &ldquo\;Over the Rainbow&rdquo\; and other favorites\, such as &ldquo
 \;76 Trombones&rdquo\;.\nFeatured soloist Mitch Brodsky will play &ldquo
 \;The Godfather Waltz&rdquo\; and a treasured piece by Herbert L. Clark\
 , considered the &ldquo\;father&rdquo\; of the cornet.&nbsp\; You will e
 njoy the well-known &ldquo\;Figaro in Stereo&rdquo\; from Rossini\, whic
 h will be performed as a tuba duet.&nbsp\; Imperial Brass\, with its new
  conductor Larry Markiewicz\, will also be featuring songs by Leroy Ande
 rson and from British classics. Join us for this spring festival of musi
 c\, and don&rsquo\;t forget to bring a father\, especially your own.&nbs
 p\; A gift will be presented to the oldest father attending.\nImperial B
 rass has been performing in the Metropolitan New York and Tri State area
  with concerts and performances in churches\, band festivals\, schools a
 nd universities since 1991.&nbsp\; Their repertoire includes classical\,
  pop\, Broadway and movie music\, feature solo items and big band jazz c
 lassics.&nbsp\; Imperial Brass in its short history of 20 years\, has tw
 ice won the Northeastern Brass Band Competition held at West Point Milit
 ary Academy and performed at the N.Y. Brass Conference for Scholarships.
  &nbsp\;\nImperial Brass has recorded four CDs\, including Bone-A-Fide B
 rass with Joseph Alessi\, principal trombone with the N.Y. Philharmonic\
 , and Have Yourself a Brassy Little Christmas.&nbsp\; Their goal is to i
 ntroduce audiences everywhere to the wonderful world of brass.&nbsp\;\nT
 ickets are on sale in advance and at the door.&nbsp\; Ticket prices are 
 $15\, seniors and students tickets are $12\, and children 12 and under a
 re free.&nbsp\; A reception with deliciouslight refreshments will follow
