DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Shakespeare Company's production  of the "Lost Sha
 kespeare" play "Cardenio" which is part of the 9th annual &ldquo\;Bard o
 n the Boulevard&rdquo\; series at  David Brearly High School football fi
 eld\, 401 Monroe Avenue\, Kenilworth.&nbsp\; This performance will take 
 place on  Thursday\, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. Performances are free and in
  case of rain\,  the performance will be moved to the Kenilworth Library
 \, 546 Boulevard\, Kenilworth.&nbsp\; Patrons are encouraged to bring a 
 lawn chair or blanket This production is an adaptation of a play "Double
  Falsehood"  said to be penned by Shakespeare and his protoge John Fletc
 her.  Based on a  subplot from Cervantes' "Don Quixote"\, the play follo
 ws young lovers  Cardenio (David Rosenberg) and Luscinda (Noelle Fair) a
 s they attempt to  get their fathers' permission to get married. Cardeni
 o's good friend\,  the ever promiscuous Fernando (Michael Hagins) loves 
 and leaves a maid  he promised to marry named Dorotea (Melissa Meli) and
  lusts after  Luscinda instead. The sometime friends valiantly duel\, ma
 dness ensues\,  parents worry\, comic cross dressing\, a bit with some s
 heep and other  chases ensue on a swashbuckling adventure through the An
 dalusia  area of Spain.\nFunding for &ldquo\;The Bard on the Boulevard&r
 dquo\; has been made possible in  part by the New Jersey State Council o
 n the Arts\, Department of State\, a  partner agency of the National End
 owment of the Arts\, through a grant  administered by the Union County O
 ffice of Cultural and Heritage  Affairs. The Kenilworth Chamber of Comme
