Brain Balance offers a research-based, multi-modal, medication-free program to address neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood (including ADHD, autism, Asperger's, learning disabilities, sensory processing disorders, anxiety disorders, Tourette's syndrome and more) which have dramatically increased in incidence over the last few decades. In short, Brain Balance focuses on addressing an imbalance between the hemispheres of the brain (a functional disconnection) and giving children a solid foundation on which to build higher-level brain and body function through better-established neural pathways. Children need such brain/body function before developing physical, behavioral, and academic skills. Extensive research shows the brain is remarkably modifiable with proper stimulation, training, and positive environmental change, and that multi-modal, progressively challenging programs can help children to overcome functional disconnections. Our founder, Dr. Robert Melillo, is a ground-breaking neurologist, pioneer in childhood neurodevelopmental disorders, and NY Times best-selling author who has been working with children for over 20 years.
