Summit hoops legend Wellington Smith will be honored by the boys basketball program prior to their game on Friday night. Wellington at 2005 graduate led the Hilltoppers to their last state sectional championships in 2004 and 2005. After graduation Wellington did a post graduate year at Blair Academy where he helped lead them to a prep school championship. From their it was on to the University of West Virginia that included an NIT Championship and three trips to the NCAA tournament, including the Final Four in his senior season.
Please come join us to honor Wellington and all he has done and continues to do for Summit Basketball.

More About Summit Hilltoppers Athletics Booster Club
The Summit Hilltoppers Athletics Booster Club is a group of parents of student-athletes dedicated to enhancing the athletic experience at Summit High School and Summit Middle School. Members raise money and sell merchandise to supplement, but not to displace, school funding for athletics. For instance, each year they provide trophies and awards for Hilltopper teams.
The club's goals include promoting interest in the schools' interscholastic athletic programs and fostering good sportsmanship, leadership, team effort and spirit.
