The Summit Taxpayers Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to advocate for fiscally responsible government. Our mission is to reduce property tax increases to zero within three years, by 2014, through dialog and non-partisan analysis regarding our City, School and County budgets.
Please join us for our first meeting since the summer break. David Bomgaars, a City of Summit council member will be attending the meeting.

More About Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School
This is the middle school for the Summit Public Schools District. It teaches sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students. The Middle School offers comprehensive instruction in math, reading, science, social studies and language arts, and builds on the skills acquired in elementary school.
In 2004, the Middle School was named after Summit Middle School's office manager, Mr. Lawton C. Johnson, who is the first employee in the history of the Summit school system to attain 50 years of service.
