 150th Anniversary.&nbsp\; This event will take place today at 6:30 p.m. 
 in the West Orange HS auditorium\, Pleasant Valley Way\, West Orange.&nb
 sp\;\nThey will be showing Edison  the Man\, starring Spenser Tracy.&nbs
 p\; Tracy himself came to West Orange for the 1940 premiere   of this fi
 lm.&nbsp\;  It shows Thomas Edison's struggle to bring electric light   
 to lower  Manhattan just a few years before he moves to West Orange   wh
 ere he  invents the movies.&nbsp\; This film was made in 1940 and is 107
  minutes long.\nThe film is preceded by a program of Films by film maker
 s from West Orange&nbsp\; Academy Award\, Emmy and Festival winners.\nTh
 e Great Train Robbery (1903) 12 minutes. Written\, produced\, and direct
 ed by Edwin S. Porter.  Considered a film making milestone\, the film ha
 s been selected for  preservation in the United States National Film Reg
 istry.\nHigh Five (1992) 4 minutes. By Rob Aden and co-starring Jeffrey 
 Heller. Sundance  and Berlin film festival winner. A confrontation at a 
 basketball court  in New   York City takes a surprising twist.\nAs Time 
 Goes By (1996) 6 min. By Ken Mandel. The most recorded song of all time 
 was  written by Montclair's Herman Hupfeld. This film\,&nbsp\; produced 
 for the N.  J. Motion Picture &amp\; Television Commission\, shows how t
 he song has  permeated our culture.\nCorona (2001) 9 minutes. By John Co
 lumbus\,&nbsp\; Columbus\, the founder and director  of the world famous
  Black Maria Film Festival takes a look at his own  life in this hauntin
 g autobiographical meditation.\nSee You Soon Again (2012) Excerpt.&nbsp\

 s. Written and directed by Eli Shapiro. Eli grew up in  West Orange and 
 now attends the NYU Tisch School. This fast-paced comedy  follows a pair
  in city dwellers on a mission that goes awry. &nbsp\;\nCrosshairs (2012
 ) 8 minutes. Written and Directed by Matt Stryker\, West  Orange  High S
 chool\, graduate (class of 2010) Matt Stryker now attends the  Universit
 y of Texas. His latest film explores the relationship of a  father\, son
