Summit Y Offers Free Admission To Potential Members Friday

The Summit Area YMCA — which offers adult and family swim, family and kid open gym and group exercise classes — is making Fridays in August free for potential members. Community members can stop in, bring a picture ID, fill out a waiver, and enter the Y. The facility will be open from 5 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.

Summit Free Public Library will screen an unrated movie called "Lucky" beginning at 10 a.m. The film will be in Zulu, Hindi and English with English subtitles. Click here for more information about this 100 minute film.

Home for Good Dog Rescue, which is based in Berkeley Heights and has an office in Summit, will host a Dog Adoption and Bank Sale Event on Saturday at PetSmart in Millburn from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. PetSmart is located 187
