Art Center Announces Fall Classes and Workshops

Summit, NJ: The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey announces its studio art classes and workshop line up for the Fall 2014 Semester. Registration starts July 7 and continues until classes begin on September 8. Over 170 classes and workshops, including 40 new courses, will be available in a variety of mediums for kids, teens and adults.

 

Mixed Media Sculpture is a new adult class where students will explore new sculpture mediums with paper clay. Teens will learn the ropes of Rock Star Marketing with Instructor Deanna Fredericks and kids will get an introduction to the Pop Art movement with hands-on projects in Art that Pops with Instructor Mary Claussen, among other offerings.

Other art programs include an Art Afternoon that will be offered in conjunction with the Art Center’s new exhibition, Doppler Shift.
