This psychologically complex play begins just as Juliana Smithton's research leads to a potential breakthrough, and her life takes a disorienting turn. Through a series of tautly-written scenes with her husband, her doctor, her daughter and her former colleague, layers of yearning, regret and mourning are stripped away to reveal Juliana’s true heart and mind. As Juliana traces her memories and relationships back in time, mysteries pile up until the truth is revealed one devastating night.
