HomeTowne Television to Host "Summit Candidates Forum"

HomeTowne Television® will host “The Summit Candidates Forum” in Summit’s City Hall Council Chambers at 512 Springfield Avenue starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 25. HomeTowne Television® “Your Neighborhood Network,” will feature shows now through Election Day that will inform its viewership. 

Summit Republican candidates Gregory Drummond (At Large), Mike McTernan (Ward 1) and Sandra Lizza (Ward 2) will face off with Democratic candidates Michael Vernotico (Ward 2) and Danny Meyers (At Large). HomeTowne Television President Fred Honold will facilitate the question and answer period during the forum. Jon Bramnick and Nancy Munoz, both incumbents, are running on the Republican ticket for Assembly, District 21; Democrat Jill La Zare is running on the Democrat ticket. 

A nonprofit public access and award-winning station, HTTV broadcasts via Verizon channel 33 and Comcast channel 36 to Summit, Millburn/Short Hills, Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Madison, Springfield, Mountainside, the Chathams, Cranford, East Hanover, Florham Park, Hillside, Kenilworth, Westfield, Bernards Township, Long Hill Township, the Mendhams, Morristown, Warren, Livingston, Maplewood, Morris Plains, Plainfield, Roselle Park, Scotch Plains, South Orange, West Orange and Union. HTTV has been the recipient of several Telly Awards and most recently a JAM Award.
