MORRIS HABITAT BENEFITS FROM TRUCK DONATION

Randolph, NJ:   Summit Millwork & Supply, Inc., a family owned company that manufactures architectural molding and millwork, as well as, distributes standard building supplies, generously donated a box van that was no longer being used.  With four active construction sites, Morris Habitat will put the truck to good use, transporting building materials and tools from storage to the various sites.

This truck is the latest donation from owners Aldo and Irene Curiale and their son, Nicholas. Four years ago, Summit Millwork & Supply, Inc. donated trim and molding for the six-plex that Morris Habitat was building in Summit. The moldings that were not used at that site were sent to the Morris Habitat ReStore, located in Randolph, which sells donated building supplies, furniture, appliances, paint and more. Since its inception in 2007, proceeds for the ReStore have helped to fund 11 affordable homes.

Nicholas encourages others to reach out to Morris Habitat. He said “it is a great cause that helps people in need.  The families that buy the affordable homes have hands-on involvement in building their home.”  To learn more about how you can help, visit www.MorrisHabitat.org or call 973-891-1934.
