Morris Habitat for Humanity Gears Up for Hammer for Habitat Event

April 17, 2014, Randolph, NJ:  Be sure to save the date!  Morris Habitat for Humanity will be its second annual Hammer for Habitat event on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Morris Habitat location, 274 South Salem Street in Randolph, New Jersey.

This fun, festive fundraising event is for all ages and there are several ways you can participate. Form a team and raise a minimum of $250 to sponsor a 2x4 stud which your team can sign, leaving messages for future homeowners.  Then come out that day during your scheduled hammer time and start hammering!  Morris Habitat will supply you with a Team Sponsor Form and the 8 Easy Steps Form to help raise funds!  Families ($25) or individuals ($10) can sign and decorate a 2x4 and enjoy the food, music and crafts station.  Sponsorships are also available.  All the wood and the proceeds of this event will be used to build future affordable homes for Morris area families.
