Summit announces Friday Night Lights + Hilltopper Weekend!

The Summit Booster Association is excited to announce that Friday Night Lights and Hilltopper Weekend will be combined this year for double the fun! The Summit Hilltoppers will take on Cranford High School on Friday, September 27th at Investors Bank Field at Tatlock Park.  The football game kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m., but the fun will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a festive tailgate party.  The Summit Music Parents Association and Towne Deli will be selling refreshments so plan on getting there early and bring your appetite.

There is a special Friday Night Lights t-shirt for sale through the Summit Booster Association.  All fans wearing the “LIGHT IT UP” t-shirt will get into the game for free. This is also Hilltopper Weekend…so the fun will continue into Saturday, September 28th.  Summit sports teams will be playing all over town, and a DJ will be playing at the Upper High School field from 10:00 – 2:00. Town Deli will be selling lunch, for all those hungry fans.

To purchase a t-shirt or for more information about the event, please visit our website, www.summitboostersnj.org or contact us at shs.boostersnj@gmail.com

The Summit Booster Association is a parent run non-profit organization whose mission is to support Summit Public Schools Athletic Programs.  Sports are an integral part of our students’ school experience and the Boosters are committed to supporting all the athletic teams at Summit High School and Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School.  Since the 1950s, the Boosters have been the primary source of outside funding for athletics and last year contributed over $60,000 to support student athletes.

This is going to be a great weekend to be a Hilltopper.  See you the last weekend in September!
