Send Us Your Photos From Summit's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Did you volunteer or participate in any service projects or events on Monday in Summit? Send your photos to caitlin.mahon@patch.com or add them to our photo gallery below.

While Monday was technically a "day off" for students and some adults, it was a "day on" for volunteers of Shaping Summit Together, local organizations and hundreds of area residents who participated in the 15th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.

From 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., there were numerous service projects and events happening all throughout Summit to “encourage all members of the community to volunteer and celebrate side-by-side in the spirit of Dr. King’s 'Dream' of unity among neighbors,” according to the program’s website.
