The re-opening is scheduled for Saturday September 10.

The Connection will showcase new programs, improvements and additions at a Grand Re-opening Celebration to be held Saturday, September 10th from Noon to 4:00 pm.

“We are very proud of our new facility which will enable us to better serve our community for years to come," said Board President, Tammy McLean. "Our Grand Re-opening is the perfect opportunity for both individuals and families to come and experience everything The Connection has to offer.”

Attendees can tour the new facility starting with the smart, easily-accessed entrance and drop off area, sunlight drenched lobby, and brand new Fitness Center, nearly doubled in size. Don’t miss the tour of our fully renovated locker and shower room facilities for men, women, and families. Parents especially will enjoy the improved access to the pool, which allows dry access for class observations and separate family changing areas.

Kirsty Nuttall, of Summit, who attends classes along with her children said: "I have attended classes at The Connection with my two sons for over six years. I attended my first parent-child swim class with my older son when he was nine months old and he is now seven! I love all the renovations and the new lobby area is so light and bright and encourages people to sit and pass the time of day with each other. I have spent many relaxing hours there reading a book and enjoying a cup of coffee whilst waiting for them. As a stay-at-home-mom I don't often get to do that!”

Ali Horne, a high school senior and member of The Connection’s Summit Summies Gymnastics Team, has been a member here almost half of her 18 years. “I’ve been coming to The Connection for eight years and it has basically become my second family.  I love walking into the gym every practice and having the younger gymnasts greet me with huge hugs.  My coaches are very friendly and know the line between having fun and getting skills and routines accomplished.  My team and I work together to help and encourage each other to accomplish our goals. The fact that everyone cheers on everyone, has allowed us to become closer as a team and work to be the team to beat at our competitions,” says Ali.
