Zoning Board: A public hearing will be held to discuss a new home construction on 275 Ashland Road at Monday's 7:30p.m. zoning board meeting at , in the Janet Whitman Room.

Let's Talk Taxes: The Summit Taxpayers Association on Monday will discuss municipal taxes and the census as well as the 10-year trend in N.J. taxes. Meeting starts at 7:30p.m. at , Room 118.

 

 

Franklin Place Site Plans: The planning board meets Monday to discuss plans for a new complex being considered for the . The planning board meets at 8p.m. in the City Hall council chambers. 

 

 

The Art of Fielding By Chad Harbach: As part of the "The Last Four Books I Read," series, lecturer Jon Plaut on Wednesday will discuss what gives this book by Chad Harbach its sense of place and makes it such a good read. Lecture begins at 7:30p.m. at the Summit Library. 

 

 

Coffee With the Principal: At 9a.m. on Thursday, will hold a coffee session with Principal Matthew Block.

 

 

Fashioning the Grotesque Body: Be part of the  Thursday Evening Salon Series:

Grotesque images of the body proliferate in fashion at the turn of the twenty-first century. Looking at the link between art and fashion through the work of experimental designer Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons to the designer and performance artist Leigh Bowery, Dr. Granata provides an insider’s look at the explosion of grotesque imagery within contemporary fashion.
