Weigh in on D-Day Plus 68-Years

On the anniversary of the invasion of Normandy, we want to know if we're still honoring the sacrifice of our fellow Americans.

Today we mark the 68th anniversary of the battle that paved the way for the Allied victory in Europe in World War II.

The June 6 invasion of Normandy, commonly known as D-Day, is one of the pivotal events in the history of our country and the world.

The battle came at a heavy price. Although there is no official casualty count, estimates of allied troops killed range from 2,500 to 4,400.

The beaches of Normandy have been considered sacred ground for Americans ever since and there have been numerous memorials to those we lost that day.

We're now several generations removed from D-Day and we'd like to know if the  sacrifices made by our military mean as much to the current generation as they did to the "Greatest Generation."
