What a great article. I'm having troubles getting my name back with the paperwork slowing down at Patch HQ, but until then I couldn't not comment on this. My wife Pat and I just love the rubber ball song. It brings sweet memories of a simpler time where we first kindled our love. I'm sharing below and hope it touches you as it did to us. The Rubber Ball Song by Not the Nine O’Clock News I like bouncing, boing boing boing Up and down until I get a pain in the groin Trying to be happy, so when it really counts Turn into a rubber ball and bounce, bounce, bounce I get up in the morning and I bounce around the bed When my mum comes in to wake me up I bounce on her instead I go into the bathroom and I bounce around the bath When I try to poop and bounce it's really quite a laugh I like bouncing, boing boing boing Up and down until I get a pain in the groin Trying to be happy, so when it really counts Turn into a rubber ball and bounce, bounce, bounce Bouncing down the club with this bird named Dennis I said to her in passing I was pretty good at tennis She looked me up and down and said it doesn't need announcing Judging by the way your balls are bouncing I like bouncing, boing boing boing Up and down until I get a pain in the groin Trying to be happy, so when it really counts Turn into a rubber ball and bounce, bounce, bounce Happy Valentine's Day to all. I also have a small list of some of our other favorites. Thank goodness for the interweb, as you can now find these songs much easier today. I would also submit the following with a brief comment: Alternative Competition 6 – “I sold my soul for a kick in the groin” – This is very moving Arrogant Worms – “I pulled my groin” – Deeply haunting, but shows that love should never give up Shael Riley – “Zelda the music of my groin” – great instrumentation What’s Their Name – “Knee to the groin” – catchy riff
