Jon & Lynn's Giant Cicada will perform on Friday, July 13 in the Jazz on the Terrace series presented by Reeves-Reed Arboretum and co-sponsored by the NJ Jazz Society. This is an outdoor concert, so be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy jazz under the stars!
Jon Burr, bassist-composer-rranger-producer and Lynn Stein, vocalist-fine artist, presents the Giant Cicada, a described as mix of jazz, bluegrass, sunshine pop and baroque, cajun and cajon, funky and sweet. Sure to please most musical palettes, the Giant Cicada began as an extension of the partnership of the vocal/bass duo Jon & Lynn, who’ve been sharing their love for the essence of song and minimalist arrangements with their fans.
