"Let Justice Roll", a concert at 7:00 pm celebrating Black History Month at Christ Church in Summit, featuring the Christ Church Chancel & Youth Choirs and the Good News Community Choir of Plainfield under the direction of Mark Miller, as well as several guest musicians. The works are all by African American composers including Richard Smallwood, Nathaniel Dett, and Miller himself. Poetry of Langston Hughes and excerpts of Martin Luther King Jr.'s Letter from a Birmingham Jail will be read aloud and set to music. Narration will be provided by Reverend Dr. James Forbes, Pastor Emeritus of The Riverside Church in New York City. All in the community are welcome!
