Woodbridge Township & The “Music on Main Street” Concert Series Present, Stephane Wrembel Live at The Barron Arts Center, 582 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge April 26 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $22.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door.
Stephane Wrembel was born in Paris and raised in Fontainebleau, home of impressionism and Django Reinhardt’s music. He was classically trained in a music conservatory starting at age four. Stephane’s life took a decisive turn in his late teens when he first discovered the music of Django Reinhardt and the Gypsies. He spent the next ten years of his life learning, playing, and expanding on this musical tradition. This hard work gave Wrembel the technique, but the time spent playing around the campfires and trailers of the Gypsies gave him the soul – both necessary ingredients for him to master his art form.
This production is part of the “Music on Main Street” Concert Series. “Music on Main Street” was founded in 2009 and presents high caliber professional touring artists across diverse genres. From emerging artists to renowned rock and roll hall of famers such as Roger McGuinn, Dave Mason and Nils Lofgren, you’ll hear amazing talent in the intimate United Methodist Church or at the Barron Arts Center.
