Santa Arrives and Annual Tree Lighting

This event is a tradition for Summit.  This year Santa will arrive on the top of the YMCA, 67 Maple Street.   The Summit Fire Department will help Santa down from the roof and he will be escorted into the building where Mrs. Claus and their elves will greet the children!  There will be carolers singing and lots of fun for all.

Once all the children have been greeted by Santa, the 2nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place across the street from the YMCA at the Village Green, Broad Street and Maple Avenue where the Tree will be lighted by Mayor Jordan Glatt and Mayor-Elect Ellen Dickson.  There will be Ice Sculpturing by Jimmy.  P.A.L. and several local banks will be offering refreshments for everyone.
