Summit Jumpin' Jive Swing Dance Party

It's a party to rock the town and raise some funds for an excellent cause!

The Summit Lions Club will host the first annual Summit Jumpin' Jive Swing Dance Party on Saturday, November 12th. Everyone is invited for a night of dancing and fun with "impossible to resist" roof-raising, toe-tapping music provided by the Gas House Gorillas. All proceeds will benefit the Summit Lions' sight and welfare charitable projects.

It’s a great opportunity to get off the couch, come downtown and join in the fun to support a good cause. The Gorillas are great entertainers, so even if you don’t dance, you can still have fun. Plus, the band’s repertoire encompasses a broad range of styles from blues and swing to Cajun music and early rock and roll – so there really is something for everyone. (You can see and hear the band at www.gashousegorillas.org.)

In addition to live music, the event will include a silent auction (featuring pro sports tickets, dinners, wine gifts and more) and a 50/50 raffle. There will also be a cash bar; light food and snacks will be provided at no additional cost. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased now on the Lions website or at the door on the night of the event. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to www.summitlionsclub.org or contact Peter Twill at 908-665-1700 or Susan Pappianou at 908-273-2422.

The Summit Lions would like to thank our sponsors: Hilltop Community Bank, Wealth Financial Partners, LLC, Kevin Child and Allsopp & Company Insurance Services and Twill Printing Services for helping to make this event possible.
