Autism Awareness Month in Summit

April is Autism Awareness Month and Summit businesses are showing their support! Monday, April 2 is World Autism Day with Beauty Lounge and Willow St. donating a percentage of all sales to Autism Speaks!  The Hat Tavern  at The Grand Summit Hotel will be offering "blue" specials as well as donating a percentage from all lunches & dinners to Autism Speaks! It's your chance to enjoy some shopping and dining while supporting a good cause. The cause continues all month long with many other Summit businesses joining forces to  Shine A Light On Autism:Silver Lining, Anspach Opticians, UPS Store, Pizza Vita, Bona Vita, Brain Balance Center, Woodward Properties, Zoom, Frames For You, Apricot Lane, The Papery, Nee Dell's, Fiorino's, Urban Paws, Blue Plate Media, The Tea Pot, Lois Schneider Realtor, Roots Steakhouse, Huntley Tavern and Sweet Nothings! Bringing Summit together is 9 year old Zachary Brooks whose twin brother, Jack, is autistic. It is Zachary's goal to make people aware of autism while raising funds for research. You can support autism by visiting these wonderful Summit businesses, wearing blue and if you would like to make a donation, please stop by Sweet Nothings at 26 Beechwood Road in Summit.
