Kent Place Invites Public to Business Ethics Workshop

Dr. Theodore Malloch will discuss ethical issues in business, the nature of the global economy.

On Friday, Feb. 3, The Ethics Institute at will host speaker Dr. Theodore Malloch in the Commons Room, Mabie House from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

The Ethics Institute event is open to the Kent Place community as well as the general public.


Dr. Malloch is a PBS-acclaimed economist, current director of the Spiritual Capital Initiative at Yale University and former United Nations representative for the United States. During his workshop, Dr. Malloch will discuss ethical issues in business, the nature of the global economy and share some highlights from his work as a leading economist and ethicist. He will also reveal clips from his celebrated documentary, which premiered on PBS, titled, Doing Virtuous Business.

Dr. Malloch is also the author of highly acclaimed books in the areas of business, ethics and the pursuit of happiness. He is chairman and chief executive officer of The Roosevelt Group, a leading strategic management and leadership company.

He has served on the board of the World Economic Forum and has held ambassadorial level positions at the United Nations in Geneva. His recent book, Spiritual Enterprise, will be available for purchase and signing (at a special event price of $15) at the end of the presentation.
