SAGE Resale Shop on Chatham Road in Summit will host a flea market in the parking lot on Sunday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to raise money to help fund the organization's Eldercare services.
A rain date has been set for the following Sunday, June 9, during the same hours.
The flea market will feature items from several estate sales.

According to Julie Reich, acting executive director foe SAGE Eldercare, proceeds from the Resale Shop help provide funding for the organization's programs and services to other adults and their caregivers in Summit and surrounding communities.
"We are often the charity of choice for these estate sales representatives and it has truly made a difference in the revenue that is generated by the Resale Shop and, therefore, SAGE Eldercare’s ability to give back to older adults in the community who truly rely on us to remain independent in their homes,” Reich said.

SAGE Eldercare serves 7,000 people throughout Union, Essex, Morris and Somerset Counties, as well as throughout the United States. The non-profit seeks to support the independence, well-being and quality of life of older adults, their families and caregivers.
Among the services provided by SAGE are HomeCare; Meals On Wheels; Spend-A-Day Adult Day Health Center; GPS (Guidance, Planning and Support) Services; InfoCare free information and referral service; Fall Prevention Initiative; Home Repair Service; Grocery Shopping and Errand Service, and many others.
The Resale Shop will also be open during the flea market.
“We want to thank and promote the generosity of the estate sales people who are very generous to SAGE by allowing us to go to their estate sales and pick up items that are not sold. They have been very supportive in keeping us stocked with quality merchandise,” Rose Rittweger, manager of SAGE’s Resale Shop, said. “Without their help, we would not be able to maintain the high level of quality merchandise and wide selection range in our store, which brings in many shoppers.”
The Resale Shop is located at 31 B Chatham Road in Summit.
