Summit's Super Sidewalk Sale Continues Through Saturday
More than 50 businesses are participating.
The Summit Super Sidewalk Sale continues through this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This sale, which began on Thursday and includes more than 50 Summit businesses, overlaps with the Discover Summit Arts Festival, which also continues through this Saturday.
“It’s a great way at the end of the school year, beginning of the summer for folks to come out and see what there is,” said Marin Mixon, Executive Director of Summit Downtown, Inc. “It might be a sale or it might be a special item or special promotion. It could be a variety of things.”

Mixon said this sale has been on and off for the past 10 years. Last year, she said the sale was held in August but was changed to the end of June after receiving input from participating businesses.
“We expect it to be a really fun event. It corresponds with Discover Summit Arts week and we expect a lot of people to be around,” Mixon said. “I think our businesses could profit from more people being in town.”
