7 Students Accepted to All-State Music Groups

The Summit Board of Education, at its June 16 meeting, presented Resolutions of Recognition to seven Summit High School students for being accepted to All State Vocal Groups. The students are, from left, Matt Wong, Brad Pzdepelski, Greg Archer, Mariah Dalton, Lynsey Newsham, and Cristina Tsanas. Not pictured is Hayley Dalton. Greg, Brad, and Matt were accepted to the All State Mixed Chorus, which will perform next school year at the NJEA Convention in Atlantic City along with the Allstate Orchestra with a repeat performance at NJPAC a few weeks later. Greg and Brad will sing in the Tenor section and Matt will be with the Bass.Hayley, Mariah, Lynsey, and Christina have been accepted to the All State Women’s Chorus in which they will perform next February at the NJMEA Convention along with All State instrumental groups. They will also appear at NJPAC.
