Ben Tolles Wins Rizzo Art Scholarship

The Summit High School Art Department has selected senior Ben Tolles to receive a scholarship from Rizzo Fine Arts, Inc. in Chatham.

Whiz Kid's School/Church/Community Center: The Summit High School Art Department has selected senior Ben Tolles to receive a scholarship from Rizzo Fine Arts, Inc. in Chatham.
• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness:  The scholarship, which was begun in 2006 by Nicholas and Brenda Rizzo celebrate their 25th year in business in Chatham, is awarded each year to graduating seniors from five area high schools who will continue their education in visual arts. The art departments from Chatham, Madison, Millburn, and New Providence high schools also selected scholarship recipients. Mr. Rizzo is a graduate of Millburn High School.
     Both Mr. and Mrs. Rizzo began their art careers in high school, and the
scholarships are representative of their belief in and commitment to arts edu-
cation in high school.
     Rizzo Fine Arts will be hosting an exhibition of the scholarship recipients’
artwork and essays about the people in their lives who have inspired them.  An
opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Tues., May 31, from 4 to 6:30
p.m. at Rizzo Fine Arts, 32 Watchung Avenue in Chatham. Refreshments will
be provided by Pascarella Brothers Deli. The exhibition will continue through
June 24.
