Boys Volleyball Information Meeting After School

Plus: Don't forget to make your Valentine's Day dinner reservations.

We made it past Monday! Here's the five things you need to know today, Tuesday, February 8.

  1. All boys interested in the 2011 volleyball team must attend a meeting after school in room 101 on Tuesday, February 8. Medical forms, team requirements, and a tryout schedule will be handed out. If you cannot attend please contact Mr. Ross at the middle school 273-1190, ext. 4564.
  2. There will be a Mother Goose Story Time at the Summit Public Library today at 10:30 a.m. This is for children 6mos - 24mos old accompanied by a caregiver.  Registration is required and all are welcome.
  3. If you haven't done so yet, check out of list of local restaurants offering specials for Valentine's Day next week. You don't want to be left out in the cold.
  4. The transfer station is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. today.
  5. Holy hockey pucks and basketball balls there are a lot of sporting events tonight:
  • Boys ice hockey takes on Cranford at 6 p.m. at Warinanco.
  • Girls ice hockey travels to Princeton to take on Princeton Day School at 6:30 p.m.
  • Girls basketball takes on Westfield at home at  7 p.m.
  • Boys basketball travels to Rahway at 7 p.m.
