Expert in Child Neurodevelopmental Disorders to Speak at SHS Tonight

Dr. Robert Melillo, founder of Brain Balance Achievement Center in Downtown Summit is currently touring the area and is a special guest lecturer at Summit High School.

Brain Balance Achievement Center is an after school program that helps children with autism, ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, dyslexia, OCD, Tourette's syndrome, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

We opened last year as one of the 65 centers found across the country, and we were able to help over 60 families last year alone. To commemorate our one-year anniversary our founder, Dr. Robert Melillo, will be visiting us to give a lecture at Summit High School, as well as to do some local book signings.

Dr. Melillo is a ground-breaking neurologist, a pioneer in childhood neurodevelopmental disorders, and a NY Times best-selling author - most famously for Disconnected Kidsand Reconnected Kids. 

Each year, well over one million children are diagnosed with autism, ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, dyslexia, OCD, Tourette's syndrome & other neurodevelopmentaldisorders. Dr. Melillo brings a fundamentally new understanding of these conditions and a revolutionary approach to addressing them.
