Fundraiser to Benefit Girls, Boys Lacrosse Programs Tonight

Here are five things you need to know, Feb. 25, 2011:

1. Tonight is the lacrosse fundraiser at the Elks Lodge. The event starts at 8 p.m. and will feature a silent auction.
2. Speed the Plow will be performed tonight at the Summit Playhouse. Curtain goes up at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students (18 and under). You can Order Tickets On-Line or call 908-273-2192.
3. Restaurant Week continues! Check out summitdowntown.org for the list of participating restaurants.
4. Today is the last day for kindergarten registration at either the Wilson or Jefferson Primary Centers. Kindergarten is open to all Summit children who will be five years old on or before September 30, 2011. Appointments must be made to register children at the Primary Center they will attend.  If parents do not know what Primary Center their child will attend, they should call Jeannine Dotten at (908) 918-2100 X3102.
5. Girls basketball will travel to West Essex in the final game of the regular season tonight at 5:30 p.m. Stay tuned to Patch for score updates.
