Is it Open? Summit Openings and Closings

Most stores and restaurants are open; the pool and golf course are closed.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, Summit residents have begun experiencing a bit of cabin fever and heading downtown. Below is a list of services and establishments confirmed open, or closed, as of 3:21 pm today.

Garbage:picked up on time today

Recycling Center (Transfer Station): will be open from Tuesday, normal hours

Community locations

* The is open until 9pm today. Wifi access: yes.

* Summit Community Pool: closed

* The Connection: open until 9:30 pm, regular hours all week, no classes but fitness center is open.

* Municipal Golf Course: closed Monday and Tuesday

Stores

* Starbucks is closed. Will open when water quality returns to normal.

* Cafe Mavi: open. WiFi access:yes
