Labrador 'teddy bear' Bosco Needs a Home

Plus: more adoptable pooches.

If you're looking to give an adorable pet friend a home this weekend, look no further. Each week we'll highlight some of the many available pooches currently in foster homes through Home For Good, a non-profit dog rescue based in Summit, and through St. Hubert's Animal Shelter in Madison. If you would like to adopt one of these adorable dogs, fill out an application online at homeforgooddogs.org or call St. Hubert's at (973) 377-2295.

Home For Good

  • Bosco is a Labrador Retriever/Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix known as a teddy bear. He is about 13 weeks and when fully grown will be a large dog. He is ready for a new home.
  • Shirley is a five-month-old Labrador Retriever mix that needs to gain a few more pounds. She is hoping to find a forever home so that she can settle in to.
  • Brianna is a young Labrador Retriever mix who loves to play and frolic. She is three months old.
  • Kahlua  is a Labrador Retriever mix, four-months old, up to date with vaccinations and is a little shy.
  • Daisey is a severely malnourished yellow Labrador Retriever from Georgia who is now safe and needs to gain weight. She will be ready for adoption by October 2011.
