Plus: It's recycling day!

Happy Thursday! Here are the five things you need to know today, February 17, 2011:

  1. It's recycling day. Great Northern will be by for curbside recycling pickup this morning so put out your paper, plastic, glass and aluminum!
  2. The girls basketball team will take on Scotch Plains-Fanwood tonight at 6 p.m. in the first round of the Union County Tournament.
  3. With more than 30 years of hits, Meat Loaf rocks the stage with classics  such as "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" and "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)'. Sponsored by The Walsh Company. Show begins at 8 p.m. at 100 South Street in Morristown.
  4. The Summit High School men’s and women’s lacrosse programs will host their 4th annual fundraiser on Friday, February 25 beginning at 8:00 pm at the Elks Club. But if you buy your tickets by tomorrow you can make the event's program booklet!
