Learn How to Capture Memories of Your Older Loved One at SAGE

On April 16 the founder of Memories Live will speak at SAGE Eldercare.

The following information was provided by SAGE Eldercare.

SAGE Eldercare welcomes Kerry Glass, founder of the non-profit Memories Live, on Tuesday, April 16 from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm.  Glass will talk about how her organization helps to empower those with life-limiting illnesses and the importance of leaving a legacy for those left behind.

The mission of Memories Live is to help people with life-limiting illnesses preserve their images, stories and wisdom by creating personalized movies to pass on to their loved ones.  These movies, which are created free of charge, consist of compilations of interviews, photos and music, and are intended to eternally preserve the reflections of those facing a life-limiting illness.

“While jewelry, photographs and mementos are nice pieces to have, they only capture a moment in time . . . a moment in time without emotion or feeling,” states Memories Live Founder Kerry Glass.  “The only real way to capture memories is to create a movie with interviews and images.  My organization, Memories Live, creates movies, free, for those who are terminally ill.”
